Lunch at the Woman’s Industrial Exchange - 2024

In collaboration with Dr. Amy Rosenkrans and the MD Women’s Heritage Center BRP Creative Consulting designed, fabricated, and installed a pop-up exhibition that evokes the historic restaurant aesthetic and integrates the culinary legacy of the Baltimore Woman’s Industrial Exchange. Visitors will engage with the window exhibition in order to discover the iconic menu items of the WIE along with their history and legacy.

In collaboration with Dr. Amy Rosenkrans and her team from Notre Dame Maryland University, BRP Creative Consulting designed and implemented an educational window installation combining artistic design elements evoking the traditional crafts movement and integrating the history of the Baltimore Woman’s Industrial Exchange.

Visitors will engage with the window exhibition in order to:

  • Discover the history of the Women’s Industrial Exchange. 

  • Connect with the industrious spirit of women throughout history.

  • Marvel at the craftsmanship of the handmade goods created for consignment at the Women’s Industrial Exchange.

This project included conceptualization, installation design and fabrication, and research analyzation and writing for text didactics.
